Syngonium Green Splash Care & Growth

LIGHT

Bright indirect light enhances splash pattern and compact growth. Medium light is tolerated but reduces contrast. Direct midday sun burns leaves, especially indoors. East or west windows are suitable.

WATERING

Water when the top inch of soil dries. Overwatering causes yellowing and rot, while underwatering causes mild wilt and dry tips. After shipping, water slightly less until growth resumes. Always drain excess water to avoid saturation.

HUMIDITY

Prefers 50–70% humidity for better leaf finish. Tolerates indoor humidity but dry air may lightly crisp tips. Avoid vents blowing directly onto the plant.

TEMPERATURE

Ideal range is 65–80°F. Below 55°F slows growth and risks chilling damage. Avoid cold windows or draft-prone areas.

SOIL & POTTING

Use well-draining tropical mix with bark and perlite. Avoid dense soils that trap water. Repot when rootbound or when drying becomes very fast.

GROWTH & ACCLIMATION

Fast climber once established and may require support for mature leaf forms. Acclimates in 1–3 weeks with reduced water needs. Fertilize once new growth appears.

COMMON ISSUES & TIPS

Leggy growth → low light

Yellowing → excess water

Dry tips → low humidity or underwatering
