LIGHT
Medium to bright indirect light enhances pink coloration. Direct sunlight fades pink pigment and may burn leaves. Low light increases green dominance and slows growth. East or bright north windows are appropriate indoors.
WATERING
Water when the top layer of soil begins to dry. Overwatering causes yellowing and soft stems, while underwatering causes drooping. After shipping, reduce watering slightly until new growth resumes. Always provide drainage.
HUMIDITY
Handles normal indoor humidity but produces cleaner foliage at 50–65%. Dry air may lightly brown tips. Avoid strong forced-air contact.
TEMPERATURE
Ideal range is 65–80°F. Below 60°F slows growth and risks damage. Avoid cold windows or open doors during winter.
SOIL & POTTING
Use well-draining tropical mix with some perlite. Avoid dense soils that trap moisture excessively. Repot when roots fill the pot.
GROWTH & ACCLIMATION
Steady indoor grower with improving color under brighter conditions. Acclimation takes 1–3 weeks. Resume fertilizing once growth restarts.
COMMON ISSUES & TIPS
Color fading → insufficient light
Yellowing → too much water
Leaf curl → dryness or underwatering
