LIGHT
Bright indirect light maintains mint coloration and prevents reversion. Direct sun burns pale areas, while low light increases green dominance. East windows or distanced south windows perform well indoors. Grow lights can be used at moderate intensity.
WATERING
Allow partial dry-back between waterings and avoid constantly wet soil. After shipping, reduce watering until growth resumes. Overwatering causes yellowing leaves and mushy stems; underwatering causes curl and wilt that recover after hydration. Always drain excess water.
HUMIDITY
Prefers 50–70% humidity but adapts to normal indoor humidity once acclimated. Dry air may lightly brown tips but does not harm health. Avoid vents blowing directly on foliage.
TEMPERATURE
Ideal temperature is 65–82°F. Below 55°F slows growth and risks cold stress. Protect from cold windows during winter.
SOIL & POTTING
Use a well-draining tropical mix with perlite and bark. Avoid dense mixes that trap water. Repot when rootbound. Can climb or trail depending on setup.
GROWTH & ACCLIMATION
Fast to moderate grower once established. Mint pattern varies leaf to leaf. Acclimation after shipping takes 1–2 weeks.
COMMON ISSUES & TIPS
Reversion → low light
Yellowing → excess water
Curling → underwatering or low humidity
