Bright indirect light is preferred for maintaining variegation clarity. Medium light is tolerated but reduces contrast. Direct sun burns variegated regions quickly. East or west windows are suitable indoors.

Allow 30–40% dry-back between waterings. Overwatering causes yellow leaves and mushy stems; underwatering causes curled leaves and dull texture. After shipping, reduce watering temporarily until growth resumes.

Prefers 50–70% humidity for smooth leaf texture. Tolerates indoor humidity but dry air may brown tips. Avoid vents and heaters.
