LIGHT

Bright indirect light encourages bold variegation and steady growth. Harsh direct sun burns pale or yellow areas. Low light reduces variegation and causes longer internodes. East or west exposures are ideal.

WATERING

Water when the top inch dries. After transit, watering needs temporarily decrease as roots adjust. Overwatering causes yellowing and soft stems; underwatering causes droop that recovers quickly. Use a soak-and-drain method to avoid standing water.

HUMIDITY

Prefers 55–75% humidity for clean edges and larger leaves. Tolerates normal indoor humidity once stable. Dry air may brown variegated margins. Avoid direct airflow from vents.

TEMPERATURE

Ideal temperature is 65–82°F. Below 55°F slows growth and may damage tender nodes. Avoid cold windows or drafty doorways.

SOIL & POTTING

Use a well-aerated aroid mix with bark and perlite. Repot only when rootbound. Support poles help shape growth and leaf orientation.

GROWTH & ACCLIMATION

Moderate climbing species with variable variegation. Expect 1–3 weeks of acclimation post-shipping. Do not fertilize or prune until new growth appears.

COMMON ISSUES & TIPS

Reduced pattern → low light

Brown variegated patches → sun stress

Soft leaves → shipping fatigue

Allow acclimation before changes
